Not sure what she is looking for that she couldn't find at Oklahoma State. They got her into great shape. I don't think another coach would have had her finish any higher than she did in xc.
No coach can fix her form. And a coach isn't responsible for the fact that she is injury prone.
So what does she think another school can do for her that wasn't being done for her at Oklahoma State?
She ran 15:25 in high school on 10 mpw. Very low mileage to keep her feet from breaking.
OSU had her up to 30 mpw and her foot broke again.
She is probably looking for a school where she can run 10 mpw and not break her feet.

That and she must be unhappy with how her injury during indoors was handled in some way.
I wonder if she was run despite being injured going in at Indoors.
I thought I heard on a podcast or read that they either did not do an mri or missed the injury or something...but her foot was not feeling well ahead of the race. She just did a podcast on The Running Effect

Transfer portal is out of control in all sports bunch of babies don't get their way and want to leave.
This. Just like that horrible bballer Angel Reese did last year.
Not saying this is the case with Cook, but that is absolutely happening with a lot of disgruntled athletes. Sometimes you need to see things a little longer to see if it really works.
You don’t put the same standard on the coaches who get up and leave their recruiting classes? Coaches are always so sanctimonious when they will kick you to the curb so fast.

I heard the opposite. She qualified in December. Then got hurt and didnt finish a race after that. The coaches obviously knew she wasn't in shape and encouraged her not to run but she or her parents wanted her to run so she ran.
It sounds like a classic 2023 situation. An injury prone runner does amazing and gets 10th in xc. She then gets injured again and has one down season but immediately wants to transfer out. What a joke.
Look, if she hates Ok State, then fine. But if she think it's because the coaching is subpar, it's absurd.
