Ahh the good old Faux News narrative of fascism, an oldie but a goodie! For one, Nazis hated socialists/communists and expressed that feeling very violently. There is also the fact that communism showing a history of dictatorship and mass casualties has nothing to do with the fact that fascism is a right-wing ideology. Just like communism eliminates liberty in favour of strict equality (or has attempted to anyway), extreme right-wing ideologies like fascism do the same in promotion of tradition, dominance, and power. The assertion that tHe LeFt uses the state to persecute its opponents is hilariously oblivious to the fact that right wingers have committed that abuse far more flagrantly, frequently, and egregiously.

Think of it this way... For thousands upon thousands of years, humans lived in small tribes ranging from a few dozen up to a hundred or so people. Many of those tribes were undoubtedly monstrous, even by prehistoric standards. It would have been jarring to spend your life being told you're the good guy as a member of one of these tribes in the face of mounting evidence you were in fact part of the bad guys. You're essentially having that experience now.

Edwards got indicted for it. So the Democrat did not get more favorable treatment from the prosecution. In Edward's case, at trial the jury found the prosecution's case inadequate. That could still happen for Trump. However, the case against Trump may be stronger if the stories about the testimony by the owner of The National Enquirer are accurate. Allegedly he testified that there was an agreement to pay off accusers with 'catch and kill' tactics and that it was for the purpose of improving Trump's chances in the election. That turns a slimy but legal payoff into a conspiracy to break campaign finance laws.

And crooked Hillary is still free with scandal after scandal? How is this justice.

So prosecute him.

Edwards was indicted on two charges and stood trial. He was acquitted on one, had a hung jury and mistrial on the other. Trump hasn’t been convicted… I don’t expect a different outcome in this case, though.

The irony is that Trump probably got elected by standing up for himself when the Access Hollywood "grab em by the p-word" video came out. Trump could have skipped the hush money payments to all the women he boned and would have just been even more popular if it came out that he was nailing porn stars and playboy model.
