Translation: You don’t like basketball because it’s played by black people.
The NBA does not use actual basketball rules though. Rules have been changed to allow more scoring. Rules are enforced to benefit the team's that provide the most money.
It's impossible to guard someone who is allowed to "delay their dribble" and charging into the defensive player now gives you free throws 90% of the time.
The NBA also favors certain teams. For example, the Lakers have shot more free throws than their opponent in about 20 straight games despite the fact that they rarely drive to the basket. The Lakers have shot well over 400 more free throws than their opponents this season. No other team has shot more than 187 free throws than their opponents. The free throw discrepancy is even more favorable for the Lakers in the 4th Quarter.
The OKC, Indiana, and Minnesota are near the top of the league in drives to the basket and are disadvantaged by nearly 200 free throws than their opponents this season. Indiana and Minnesota also have two of the biggest rim deterrents in the NBA.
The transfer portal makes a huge difference. There are hundreds of excellent players who sit on the bench of the power conferences because they're basically warehoused to keep them from playing on other teams. Now they can move to less elite programs and make a big impact. Plus these elite coaches at the traditional schools like Kentucky, Kansas, Duke, etc...maybe aren't as elite as coaches....they just get better recruits. But now we're finding out there are probably coaches who are even better at lesser known programs because they don't rely on talent, they teach the game. And now they get access to better players and their coaching skills are being show now.
#25 Florida Atlantic - First Final Four, never won a tournament game before this season, second tournament appearance
#18 San Diego State - First Final Four, made two previous Sweet 16s in 15 tournament appearances
#16 Miami - First Final Four, only made one previous Elite Eight in 12 tournament appearances
#10 Connecticut - Sixth Final Four, four previous national championships, 36 tournament appearances
Yep, proves my point. One top ten team. The level of play is just not very strong. Sorry, kids.
Or maybe there is parity in the sport? Single elimination might not be the best way to prove who the best team is but it's nevertheless exciting and draws attention to universities. Just now on CBS in NY there is a commercial for FDU. "Successful" sports programs help market their schools.
Hello captain obvious. You are telling me professional athletes are better than collegiate athletes? Yes that is supposed to be true in every sport. It does not mean that watching the games are any less entertaining.

This is the only coherent argument posed so far by the pro-NCAA mob.
With a trip to the Final Four on the line , the current score of one of the games is 42-35 with 4 minutes left...in the game. Not the first half. The game.
