I can see that. It's really stupid the way this meet was run that athletes would have to make those kinds of decisions mid race. But hopefully I'm not correct and that Sumner is coming along. Unless he runs some sub 20.5s 200, I think his ceiling is going to be higher in the 800, in which case it would be a shame if he was set back because he didn't choose the right college.
To the earlier poster, Godwin was throwing up all morning with a stomach bug it appears. He said he didn't feel like he was recovered enough from the 400 to run the 4x400, but was proud of the guys for running so well.
