Hiltz has wheels and should be good for Elly to train with. I'm trying to think of other women who will be in contention for that 5k team that I would put ahead of Henes and I don't know if anyone is a sure thing to beat her. Monson, Cranny, and Schweizer are probably the strongest candidates but I can see Elly nabbing a spot from one of them or some opting up for the 10k.
There are a few runners who could contend for a 5k spot if in top form. I wouldn't count out Whittni Morgan or Weini Kelati. Whittni crushed the mile last week. She beat Henes (by a second) at USAs. Granted Henes has a faster 5k PR right now. Excited to see what happens tomorrow.

Did you ever stop and think that perhaps those reports aren’t being made because they’re upsetting to the person that is reporting them? Maybe they’re being reported because the person that is reporting them knows the person that the drivel is being posted about and they’re thinking of that person and don’t want them to see what some anonymous tool bag wrote?
Actually most pros and high level runners hate this forum and don’t come here anyway. They hate it because they think it’s a cesspool. The chances of them seeing the posts are probably pretty small since they probably won’t read it anyway.

every forum has whiners that talk about how the pros hate it and won't come on. Guess what, nobody under the age of 35 or even 40 goes on forums. I should say almost nobody. it's a really small number.
they don't come here because they have twitter, tiktok, instagram, etc. a place like this just doesn't get the eyeballs for it to be worth their while.
