Social Security isn't going anywhere and the age(s) for early and full won't be raised again.
Politicians, on both sides, know that they can only push things so far.

They blow more money and steal more money thru backdoor deals and will easily come up with the money to keep it going. It's a scare tactic.
The money is needed as it also keeps the economy going through purchases of goods and services by those recipients. It's also true for unemployment.
We aren't France or any other country and aren't operated the same way, we are the USA and comparing to others is futile.
You have the option to wait to 70 and get even more per month, so no one is stopping anyone from NOT collecting earlier or later.
At 67 you can work full-time and aren't penalized one cent for any SS money that you receive.
