Deno, you are not getting it. I am not saying that the NFL is rigged, and I don't believe that it is. However, you are the one that just keeps making the claim that it is utterly impossible for it to ever be rigged, despite acknowledging that perhaps a game or two has been. So, I would like to hear your specific definition of when would the league be considered "rigged". Yet, you seem to refuse to discuss this for some reason and keep just making the same claim without any critical thought behind it.
I'll give you another example... voting. Right now a majority of people (I believe) hold the view that the system isn't "rigged". However, I think there are very few who would say that there has never been any instances of voter fraud. You with me so far? The prevailing sentiment is that even though there are voting shenanigans that take place, the volume is not enough to turn the election or deem the system "rigged". That could change, however, if enough fraudulent activity took place and there were not enough controls in place to tamp it down. To say it could never happen is simply being partisan (as you evidently are with the NFL) and ignores history, other nations, etc. Just dumb, imo. Can you at all see what I am saying, or is it just "NFL good and never bad" for you?
So, I am asking for like the 4th time, please define "rigged" more clearly. If an individual (or individuals) could alter the outcome of a game by acting in bad faith, which you conceded could occur and perhaps has already occurred... and we acknowledge that rigging/fraud has occurred in all sorts of ways in large institutions in ways that people would not have predicted... at what level (how many games) would it take before you would say that the league is rigged? Sheesh - Just answer the question already!
