This argues against your main theme, doesn’t it? Nazi Germany was only 1.5% atheist:
From Wikipedia: A census in May 1939, six years into the Nazi era[1]and after the annexation of mostly Catholic Austria and mostly Catholic Czechoslovakia[2] into Germany, indicates[3] that 54% of the population considered itself Protestant, 41% considered itself Catholic, 3.5% self-identified as Gottgläubig[4] (lit. "believing in God"),[5] and 1.5% as "atheist".[4] Protestants voted for the Nazi Party and made up its membership more than Catholics did.[6][7][8][9][10]
So you blame the German people for what Hitler did? I blame Hitler...

Why not both? Living your life as a this or that, black and white series of choices severely limits your world view.

Sure, we blame Hitler, but he was elected by Christians. I just pointed out the obvious flaw in blaming atheism for the holocaust. Atheists did not hand the government over to Hitler. Christians did.
There are 4 big-ish cities in the US with murder rates of below 1/100k. They are Irvine, Chula Vista, Fremont, and Boise; demographically, they are different but all share one thing in common.

They didn't know the things he was going to do, thats ridiculous.
In the more teachers that come to school armed the more incidents like this you'll see because Mark my words kids will get their hands on those guns and they will be accidental shootings.
According to the story, the shooting wasn’t “accidental.”
This one wasn't. My point was the more guns that are brought into school legally by these politicians who want to allow teachers to have guns the more accidental shootings you'll see.
Mark my words, you're going to see more accidental shootings by these guns then heroes who thwart attacks.

I only stated facts. Hitler was clearly a demagogue. Demagogues can make good people do terrible things regardless of their religious preference. The thesis that wars and mass killings are caused by atheists is what I find to be ridiculous.
Racist dummies post their hate on here all the time without being banned. You’ll be fine.
Hello!
Can you explain why New Hampshire has less stringent gun laws, but low murder rates?
Must be a reason...what is your theory?
I'm also interested in the theory along with those 4 large cities with less murder. I think there are those going for the racial makeup but what else may be the explanation?
Those who don't pray might have greater respect for human life than those who pray, and lack of respect for human life is a big part of the violence problem in the USA.
What specific evidence do you have that says otherwise.
Please refer to the subsequent post on atheistic, agnostic and other regimes or entities that were against traditional religions and which slaughtered enormous numbers of innocent human beings.
Please refer to:
1) Holy wars in which Christians and Muslims slaughtered each other by the tens of millions in the name of, you guessed it, God.
2) Aztecs, whose ritual slaughter of thousands daily was performed in the name of, you guessed right again, God.
3) Spanish and Portuguese conquerors of the new world who butchered tens of millions and often blew their brains out immediately upon the "savages" conversion to Christendom in order to "save their souls for eternity."
4) The support of Hitler and his German Nazi savages by the "Holy" Roman Church.
4) Islamic holy warriors of today who are often known by a different name (terrorists).
5) Russian Orthodox Church of today condoning the ruthless slaughter of Ukrainians in order to fulfill who's will again - oh yeah, that would be God's will.

Got anything else? Or would you simply like to concede the point that those who don't pray might have greater respect for human life than those who do pray, and lack of respect for human life is a big part of the violence problem in the USA.
Or perhaps you really do have specific evidence that says otherwise but you have simply been hiding it.

No, as the Nazi leaders had policies, as I wrote, "against traditional religions." Hitler had plans to kidnap Pope Pius XII. Protestant Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer was hanged on 9 April 1945 - ONE DAY AFTER the Nazis surrendered. I heard a Catholic priest describe Bonhoeffer's execution as an act of hatred as it served no practical purpose following the Nazi surrender. Thousands of Catholic clergy were killed in Nazi concentration camps including St. Maximillian Kolbe at Auschwitz on 14 Aug. 1941. And Nazi policies and actions against Jews and Judaism are rather well known.
Please don't try to fob off the regimes of Lenin and Stalin as Christian because of nominal membership of some of the leaders. While it is true that some Russian Orthodox clergy complied with the aims of these regimes, the Soviet Union quashed churches, mosques and synagogues.
Throughout the history of the Soviet Union (1917–1991), there were periods when Soviet authorities brutally suppressed and persecuted various forms of Christianity to different extents depending on State interests. Soviet Mar...

The thesis I stated was not quite what you claim immediately above my words here. My thesis was: "Regimes and entities that were or are agnostic, atheistic, or otherwise opposed to traditional religions have been, by very, very, very, far, the biggest killers of innocent human beings in history."
Planned Parenthood and Marie Stopes International even alone puts refutation of that thesis out of reach.
