I think you have them confused with porn stars
I have no idea. I never worried much about popularity in HS. I got good grades, played sports, had a part in school plays but knew the whole time that HS was a stepping stone to bigger things down the road. Hopefully it was the same for all my classmates too.

One of my good friends is unemployed and smokes weed in his mom's basement.
A few of the popular girls are already pregnant.
Meanwhile, the manlet with a pizza face who got bullied every day now goes to Yale, and has a hot girlfriend that's way out of his league. His face looks as smooth as a baby's bottom too.
Where are the most POPULAR students at your high school now?
10 years post high school, most are recently married and recently expecting their first child. The guys all have good looking (but not extraordinarily so) wives. The women made some questionable picks, but seemed to be looking for the provider or just rich types. A few seem to be struggling to find their way in life, but most are doing great, myself included.
Jamie had a chance, well she really did. Instead she dropped out and had a couple of kids. Mark still lives at home 'cause he's got no job. He just plays guitar and smokes a lot of pot. Jay committed suicide. Brandon OD'd and died. What the hell is going on? The cruelest dream, reality. Now the neighborhood's cracked and torn. The kids are grown up, but their lives are worn. How can one little street swallow so many lives?
^^^^ GAY
The most popular guy in the class above me is now my stepdad. It’s awkward af.
Most popular from my year:
Girl- Never has held down a real job. Brother is a failed motocross/rally car/snow machine/UTV/now some off-road pickup monstrosity. Family is wealthy, but kids do nothing. She hung around the tracks and ended up marrying some 40 year old guy that is moderately successful.
Guy- Really a group of them. Ringleader works in political analytics. Pretty smart guy. One is an accountant for a church. One is a teacher. One is a branch manager at a KeyBank. One is a ski bum that just got cut off by his parents and was asking for money on FB to try to make it to the next place.
The most popular while I was in school?
Girl- Hasn't done anything, worked as a teller at a bank and then kind of disappeared. She got dismissed from her college track team after her freshman year and dropped out shortly after.
Guys were twins. One went and played D1 football at a P5, started for a few years, went undrafted and was cut in camp, and is now a position coach at a high school. He married into money and I think that's his entire plan. The other went to a JC, and turned up back in town after his 2 years there (and not really playing) saying he had an offer from an SEC school, which of course never panned out. He kind of bummed around town before his parents cut him off and works at some job making $50k per year and married a girl who is an "artist" and comes from money. I think they have their 2nd kid on the way but it's known that dude is sleeping around town, so his gravy train is coming to an end soon.
I opted to run the 5k at the Portland Track Festival on the day of my 10-year HS reunion. That will be my lifetime PR. No regrets. HS in a backwards town was a weird experience and I keep in touch with very few people from that period.
I don't know what any of the popular kids are doing now. Rarely think about them. The kids I was friends with (mostly nerds) are all doing pretty well.
Popular guy: worked as firefighter; still nice guy
Popular girls: wide range from married an NFL player to worked at Goodwill; from pharmaceutical rep (divorced from guy 20 years older than she) to widow (nice family)
Best athlete: in prison (3rd or 4th time)
Smartest: valedictorian: doctorate from Ivy university, professor now; another works in Hollywood as a very successful voice actor; another got a computer science degree and plays with breeding horses for racing
One is a retired surfing champ that is now a paramedic.
The other is a country music star.
I’m sure some of the other popular kids failed in life but I’m unsure how b/c I don’t care enough to follow and wasn’t in their circle of friends.
I went to large football school in Western PA and few of the football players are dead. Roids were a thing back then and one of them had CTE. He went and bought a gun 2 years ago, came home in the basement and did it. Left a note that said donate my brain to science. One of the hottest girls in my grade was a stripper and worked her way up to marrying a couple of successful pro wrestlers and actually still gets some TV time in the ring. Most of the hot girls were more or less bullies back then and still hang out and think they are still a thing because they post their yoga pictures on IG attempting to leave the impression we are healthy, yet will chain smoke or vape anytime they drink wine together. Many of the students with highest GPAs went on to become teachers.
I have only kept in touch with one person after 20 years. I don’t use social media and moved pretty far away. So, I have no idea. If I had to guess from my class, I’d find it hard to believe that too many make more money than me. However, I am willing to bet that many are very happy and doing just fine. I was definitely the oddball loner dude.

i have no idea what happened to the majority of my graduating class. it was 20+ years ago, but even if you asked me within two years of graduating, i couldnt tell you. the past belongs in the past.
Our class president had a successful career as a government spokesman, who frequently interviewed on TV. I talked to him at two reunions and found him to be genuinely funny and quite nice. The most popular girl became a corporate attorney - unmarried but still quite attractive. More surprising to me was how large some of the less popular girls I was once interested in have become.
Due to family moves, I went to three high schools in three states so my experiences was pretty disjointed. As to the smartest kids: I have no info regarding the school I went to freshman year. I would have been valedictorian in the school I went to sophomore and junior year if I had stayed there and I became an attorney. The guy who did become valedictorian is a physician. Number one in the high school I went to senior year is an attorney. Number two is a physician. I have no idea what happened to the popular kids in any of the schools.
Two ended up in the NFL, one of whom became an all-pro and was on a team that won the super bowl.
Not sure anyone else. I see a couple online through Strava. They seem active and living a normal life like everyone else. Other than that, It was a long time ago and could care less.
Not going to lie though… It does make me feel good when you see girls who thought they were too good for you back then who have not aged well and my wife is way younger and hotter. Guess I’m a horrible person but hey, I look good and so does my wife 😂
"...All the people we used to know, they are an illusion to me now.
Some are are mathematicians. Some are carpenter's wives.
I don't know how it all got started.
I don't know what they're doing with their lives."
Nice post!
