She started 37 games in her first two years and scored no goals and had 1 shot on goal in the 41 games she played.
in her third year she started opener which team lost to uva 3-1. Maybe coach decided to give another player with more offensive upside a chance? She didn’t live uP to what she did in high school. This happens all the time. Big fish in little pond struggles as little fish In big pond.
It seems a strange time to put her on the bench, coinciding with her refusal to tow the party line and cow-tow before BLM.
Ever think that maybe this anti-BLM stance that you have is the bad side to be on. Like, do you not think Black lives matter? That’s pretty hateful and messed up in my and most of America’s opinion.
People like you are the ones that can’t even comprehend the 1st amendment, the kind of person that will call a blacks person the n-word and cry foul when you get your a$$ kicked for it.
She f’d around and found out. It’s not “brave” to act like her existence is more valuable than someone else’s just because she is white. When you do something stupid, there is often a negative consequence. I can only imagine she has lived a very charmed life with little consequence, and hopefully this experience will be one she learns from.

Lenny, Lenny, Lenny,
You may be out of the loop but BLM is led by a bunch of money grubbing con artists who don't give a whit about anybody's life. If you want to kiss BLM arse you are free to do so but please support free thinking people's right to do otherwise.

I am indeed opposed to the agenda of Black Lives Matter, because the policies for which it advocates have increased crime and resulted in more death and chaos in poor urban communities.

I feel like if I went to ChatGPT and told them to create a word salad of “woke” nonsense, it would spew out what you just said.

Lenny, Lenny, Lenny,

I support her right to do whatever she wants, but I don’t get upset when she gets called out for making stupid decisions. Again, the people who are siding with her over her “rights” don’t understand what that word means.
Are you suggesting that if a woman dresses provocatively, she should expect the possibility of being raped? Or if someone jogs through a bad neighborhood, they should expect to be killed?

No. You must be sort of stupid.
I’m saying that when a white girl clearly makes a public statement to her non-white teammates, classmates, and fans of the team that she is better than them because of her whiteness, and she gets reprimanded for it, that makes perfect sense to me.
I don’t think dressing provocatively or running are stupid decisions. I think being openly bigoted is a stupid decision. Can you not tell the difference?
Can you remind us all when/where she “made a public statement that she is better than everyone else because of her whiteness?” I must have missed that part entirely. As far as I can tell she showed up to perform the task she was recruited to do, which is play a sport, not take part in a forced theater production.
Kiersten Hening played as a midfielder and defender for Virginia Tech Hokies between 2018-20. The player said in her lawsuit that she played for the most minutes on the team. The player refused to take a knee before a game as a demonstration.
Wasn't she saying that she was not better than anyone else by wanting to do what everyone else in society does? Seems like she was being forced to call attention to herself and a certain organized group. Would you be okay if her team wanted to kneel in support of Donald Trump and one player refused?

I’ve read several articles related to the story, and what she “protested” was called by her and several others as a “unity statement.”
I don’t know about you, but in my experience with team sports, “unity” is seen as a positive contributor to team success. If a player publicly acts in a way that is against team unity, maybe they don’t care about the team. Again, free to do what you want, but most coaches aren’t going to want to give much playing time to players who are against unity, especially when that unity is rooted in racial equality and equal justice.
Coach Adair was probably one who was celebrating Colin Kaepernick's right to kneel in protest during the national anthem and did just the opposite with this young lady. Conform or else.
Conversely, I’m not seeing all of the “distraction” and “locker room cancer” accusations here that littered the Kaepernick threads.

your Donald Trump joke is not funny.
"Do what we say or you're against us."
If you were in Germany during the 1930's, you would have been a nazi full-stop.
So you mean when Kaperninck started kneeling while the rest of his team stood for the national anthem? Now I understand. He should quietly have suffered consequences for doing it and everyone should have scorned him.

That's a really stupid take on all this, Leonard. Full of strawman arguments, hypocrisy, exaggeration.
Sadly, I will be surprised if her allegations are not true. The liberal compassionate left is understanding only if you agree with them. I am not sure if Michigan Basketball is wearing the BLM patch on their jersey's this year (they have the past few years) as I often wonder what if a player does not want that on his jersey? Michigan basketball has a real winner for a HC as well. Thank God I stopped coaching college XC and T&F 4 years ago - love the athletes and the competition but that was it
