I did not comment on the merits of the joke but rather was opining on the lack of capacity to ascertain that the previous poster had been joking.

I'm not saying nobody else uses the brojos' "weird phrases," the main point is they seem to know one, and exactly one, cutesy slangy phrase to say about a given situation and they use that phrase every single time.
