Ana was a two year team captain of the cross country team at Washington State. She was last twice in the Pac-12 10000m. Arguably the second most famous female track & field athlete from Skyview HS in Vancouver.
I'm guessing she ran 60-80 mpw. I think she also has a family. So very impressed she was able to run the men's 18-34 BQ time and beat it by 8 minutes (without the buffer).
Makes you realize you need to work harder and get better each day.
Are those good general trainers or more specialized?
Anyone here would guess her mileage? I'm also curious as to if she had access to premier coaching and other services. As a mom, she's probably swamped and has weird hours as a broadcaster.

It's sad she's stuck on the East Coast. I know it's impossible but for only a scant few, but I hope she can get a job back home in the L.A. of Frisco market.

lol she isn't an average American. In fact there are few women in my part of england who have run a 36 minute 10k.

FTFY. She is far from average, and most Americans couldn't run sub-3 no matter how much they "really want it" or "want or dare to be great."
