The NCAA is a voluntary organization that educational institutions choose to join.
If someone doesn\'t want to comply with the rules of NCAA sport - no problem, they just shouldn\'t compete within NCAA sport.

It's probably not as bad as what it's all being made out to be here but surely no volunatary organisation are allowed to make rules that conflict with you're "basic rights" (for want of a better phrase). I know that's probably a bit of an exaggeration but what it sounds like. Surely, ex-student or not, you can train with whoever you want, drive whoever you want anywhere you want on your own car, live with who you want, and buy a pizza for whoever you want. As you said it's not probably as bad, or exaggerated, as all that and we're probably reading too deeply into technicalities the NCAA have never come across or likely to bother adjudicate on.
