musk need Revenue and 95% comes from Ads. Corps don’t want to have their ads sandwiched between vile racist, civil war inciting tweets. there is a reason the free for all alternatives like truth social can’t get ad revenue.
My question is, how long until our corrupt federal government bails out GM again? They are a terribly run auto company with inferior product and a massive pension liability weighing it down. As a tax payer, I can't wait for the 2nd time in my lifetime that we have to bailout this company with my money.

GM sold 6.3 million cars in 2021. Tesla sold 936,222 cars in 2021.
GM can mass produce low cost vehicles for sale globally. Only Solid-State Battery Electric vehicles are mass producible by the millions and will not spontaneously catch fire and burn down your house.

Yep, it isn't a coincidence that every major site ends up having similar levels of moderation. Even websites that were initially opposed to sitewide moderation like Reddit end up having to change their stance to grow their user base.
The lack of success of Gab/Parler/Truth Social is direct evidence that the ostensible demand for an uncensored Twitter isn't actually there, which is why all the people celebrating Musk still use moderated Twitter instead of those less/unmoderated platforms in the first place. Very few people are genuinely comfortable being around neo-Nazis/ethnonationalists, conspiracy theorists, constant bigotry and vitriol, abusive trolls, spammers, and generally sh!tty people, yet those are the groups and topics that dominate every 'uncensored' platform, which pushes out all the more moderate users and ends up killing the site entirely.
How many more failed attempts will it take for these people to learn that their fantasy of an uncensored platform is not actually desirable in reality? Turning Twitter into another Parler or Truth Social will just make it as unsuccessful as Parler or Truth Social.

No, what is simpleminded is thinking abolishing moderation is a good thing, despite this theory being tested multiple times and failing every time. The moderated platforms that you hate so much are the only ones that see any level of success and mass appeal.

So the 3 step process for these people such as Elon Musk who expose the truth which the left tries to label as lies/misinformation. 1) they try to censor/cancel/slander/discredit the individual who's a threat to them 2) they try to imprison the individual
3) if those options fail then they try to kill the individual
