I agree, but what is strange is that the 5k splits are faster than the total 5k race times at Joe Piane. So, that leaves questions (for me) about the course or splits.
The UF coach was with Schumacher since college, was a Dr. Brown "patient" and was on BTC from the inception. The cynicism goes with it. Sorry, not sorry.

So what’s the point? What PED do you think Valby is on??

Stop beating around the bush, just say it. Your little "implications" got old in that 30 page thread.

CAN WE STOP WITH THE PEDS AND INSULTS ALREADY? You two should get your own thread and trade insults and accusations about 20 year-old college women all day and leave the rest of us alone. There are far more interesting topics about theses races like splits, course, composition, fast times, comparisons, etc. that are more relevant to what will happen at champs.
You just admitted Tuohy looks suspicious for a distance runner, and Valby looks the part.
So cut out the drug talk, already!
That is Tuohy's natural body. If anyone has followed her from early in her career they will know that there is nothing suspicious about her at all and her progression seems totally normal. She likes to work out with weights and has always had a powerful build. I think that Henes would sometimes like for her not to cross train as much she does and has tempered her somewhat. Some of you guys act as if Tuohy is a body builder or something. She is definitley toned but, again, there is nothing suspicious.
I have wanted to believe in Valby and have even defended her in some threads when talk of PEDs has arisen. I am beginning to lose that belief. If her results over the past few weeks have been on accurate courses, they're honestly TGTBT. Her ascent and pregression is also TGTBT. Luckily this will all get sorted out on November 19 on a course in Stillwater, Ohlahoma. Her performance there will tell me all that I need to know in regard to if she is clean.
The point is that when a program had a coach with that type of history and one of the athletes this athlete coaches is supposedly a "new sensation", it is impossible to know what is real.

No, you're just an a-hole with an obsession with Tuohy

Ah, no. I didn't ....re-read.
You seem very angry. What's your issue/relationship here..?
If I’m a bit perturbed, it’s because Astro immediately started up the PED accusations on Valby after she turned in another great performance. It got old real quick, last time.
He needs to get used to the fact that Valby is an exceptional talent, and cut out the repeated slander of her reputation on this forum.
Just split 15:24 en route to a dominant win. Times in Cross don't mean much, but looking much more like a toss up between her and Tuohy at NCAAs.
I barely follow Women's College XC, but Im invested this year so Astro and the other weirdo Tuohy stalkers who continue to baselessly accuse Valby of doping can kick rocks. And I have nothing against Tuohy, just some of her fanboys on these boards who accuse anyone that might be a threat to her of doping.

This. Here on this running board, it is noteworthy to talk about unusual progression like PV's. People shouldn't be screamed at (nor other runner's bodies' insulted) for pointing this very unusual pattern of progression out, along with some fairly dubious coaching contacts. The reason we're not talking about Tuohy is because her progress has been well-chartered - clear talent with absolutely normal progression and injury 'ups' and 'downs'. This cannot be said for PV. It's anomaly, and hence interesting to us.

^^^Another idiotic post, that can be summarized like this:
If Valby loses the Championship to Tuohy, I’ll give her a pass then, but if she beats Tuohy then, she must be dirty!
That’s how your post, and countless others from the Tuohy fans on here, read.

I’d definitely like to see it stop. I asked the question of the accusers that no one has asked yet. What PED do they think she is actually on?? The answer: …crickets…
