These chicks run run run and dont do any strength and don't eat enough protien and no milk. their bones are so weak that the break probably didn't even hurt that bad.
This is what happens when someone listens to the LRC vegans constantly going on about how dairy and meat is horrible and not clean, like in the recent 3000 calories thread where they kept saying dairy is not healthy. The vegan propaganda should really be banned on LRC because it directly leads to harm on a runners healthy like in the video.
These chicks run run run and dont do any strength and don't eat enough protien and no milk. their bones are so weak that the break probably didn't even hurt that bad. Nothing like if a healthy 25 year old strength training male were to break his femur.
Look no one is helping, ffs. awful.
Odd logic. Will the strength trainer’s heart attack hurt less from doing no cardiovascular work and having a weak heart?
in high school before an indoor meet I was watching the pole vaulters warm up and one guy planted the pole and went up just fine, but then stalled at the top of the arc, fell backward, and put his arm back to break his fall and his arm snapped - compound fracture. it was horrifying
ouch, hard to watch indeed, that must have been so painful. Why did the officials take so long to assist her after they jogged up? It was obvious her race was over,
Wtf were they supposed to do? They aren't doctors...if they tried to "assist" her, they could have seriously harmed her.
Likely they have a rule in this Ekiden that any runner receiving outside assistance is automatically disqualified. Officials know that if they touch a runner they are likely to get that runner disqualified, so they are very cautious. Having officiated in Japan I can attest that they very much like and adhere to rules, regulations, etc.
Embarrassing that she didn't finish. Have Japanese runners gone soft? Breaking a leg is no excuse for not finishing. She was expected to crawl to the finish as Japanese runners have done before! She has brought shame upon her family and the nation of Japan and the only way to erase the shame is to grab a katana and perform hari-kari.
