Vincent Bugliosi wrote a book on the trial, reviewing the facts and describing how they were presented. It is clear that the facts pointed to guilt but the prosecutors presented them poorly. It’s a good book for anyone to read who is interested in learning how to present a case - and how not to.
If you weren't on the jury you have no idea that they were swayed by anything but the facts.

The comment above was about the jury in the civil trial - not the farce that was the criminal trial.
Didn’t OJ try to run away from the crime in a white Bronco, crying that he was sorry and had a gun to his head? That doesn’t sound guilty…..
That was the thing for me.
Everybody loved OJ back then. We all knew him as the Hall of Fame athlete, sports commentator, and actor in movies and commercials. When the murders happened, my initial thought was unlikely that someone as famous and admired as him could have done something so horrible. But, then I saw the chase live on TV and knew it was true. An innocent person would not have been in that situation and acted that way. It was obvious.
Of course he did it. He probably was so fed up with his ex wife and his temper got the best of him. If I’m remembering correctly, OJ had a time or two where he was accused of beating Nicole. Don’t remember if it were proven or not ?
He just snapped. Some people can’t handle their exes “entertaining” the wait staff.
How can at a time 47 year old O.J with a bad knee take down two significantly younger physically fit people? Nicole was 35 years old and ran 9 miles a day, Ron Goldman was 25 years old and reportedly a black belt in karate. It just doesn't add up.
A 250lb all-time great athlete at 47 armed with a knife can 'take down' a 95lb female hobby jogger and a 'karate guy' in 5 seconds. Karate was proven to be a crock of bull at least 28 years ago with UFC 1. It doesn't help you, or likely even hinders you, in an unarmed street fight, let alone in a fight to the death with a huge MF armed with a knife.
It's not easy to stab people to death as you think. Just watch videos of inmates stabbing and you will see the struggle involved.

The two deaths weren’t due to “stabbings.” Both were nearly decapitated.
And you’re wrong on the “ease” of stabbing too. It’s very easy… and convenient. If it were so hard, why would people look to attack with a sharp object then to strike with hands/feet, etc.?
Come on, “Femboi.” Have you ever fought ?……..not counting with your identity? Hahahahaha…..

You exaggerated. You know O.J. was not 250 or anywhere close to 250 in 1990s. They say he go to 250 or so in prison, just chubby.

One man against a black belt in Karate and a woman running 63 miles a week, it does seem improbable. If not OJ, who could have done it? My money is on Jean Claude Van Damme with help from Francie Larriue Smith.
Um, world class female marathoners run a lot more than that and I bet I can take any of those 115-pounders in a fist fight. Their only hope would be to outrun me (which they can easily do).
The police can have planted evidence (the blood on the socks, for example) in an effort to nail the case down, but not understanding how blood splatters, they can get it wrong.
I agree. I think the glove was planted at his house, OJ told Johnny that, and that tipped the defense off and they knew the cops were vulnerable.
They were his gloves of course. No, they didn't go out and 3 am and get the same rare type of Italian gloves that credit card receipts showed OJ to have and then get the wrong size. Faking having tight gloves not fit is very easy.

"Here is why" I'm waiting for the why, all you did was pose another question. You nevered answered the why.

OJ was old and had a bad knee and his supposedly victims were younger and in great shape that's why.

I read the Bugliosi book when it was first published. He NEVER lost a murder case as a LA prosecutor and he rightfully criticized the weak & pathetic initial questioning the LA detectives made with OJ.
Marcia's Clark's refusal to accept a jury consultant's findings was a major reason why she lost the criminal case.
Had Bugliosi prosecuted the OJ case, he would have 100% nailed him with life w/o parole.
I’ll take the 47 year old ex NFLer with a very sharp knife, who preplanned a surprise attack.
How do you surprise two people?
Two people? The jury surprised hundreds of millions of people.
I remember the verdict so clearly. Every person in my office stood there in stunned silence for a few minutes. 9/11 was the only other time that happened.

You can thank the Rodney King incident and all the other recordings of coward cops beating and killing innocent citizens for the OJ. verdict. That, and a absolute crap prosecutorial team. Throw in lowlife scum Johnny Cockring and you have a perfect storm for a not guilty verdict.
It was worth it, though. Camcorders were new and from that point on ( Rodney King), people were made aware of what happens with blue cowards

Some of you haven't had much life-experience if you think a 47 year old former pro footballer armed with a knife is too old and weak to kill anyone. This, allied to the fact that the victims wouldn't have been expecting that he would kill them . The civil jury didn't have a problem with this.

Maybe in movies but in real life. Check out the video of Chicago jail fight where inmates who are younger than OJ are stabbing each other.

In real life a 47 year old former pro footballer killed two people with a knife. That was the conclusion of a jury.
If your theory was correct we wouldn't see any knife homicides perpetrated by anyone in their forties or older - because they are physically unable. You would be wrong. There are knife homicides committed by those far older than Simpson was.
I am over twenty years older that Simpson was then. Even though I am not a former pro footballer it wouldn't be physically difficult to use a knife against someone who wasn't expecting to be attacked. A sharp blade penetrates flesh very easily - as you will have found when accidentally cutting yourself in the kitchen.
