Rojo says Jon Gault doesn’t think he will break 3. I am with Gault on this one. It is not that it is impossible but Rojo is turning 50 next year and I don’t think he has enough motivation. I think he has turned soft and underestimated the challenge here. Is Rojo even training much and where will he attempt this?
It's not impossible to do in 9 to 15 months. Some people have a constant relationship with running after HS/College. Others let go for a bit but then come back. On that spectrum I think Rojo let go a bit...
He's going to have to make sacrifices and be dedicated. I am not just talking about running for 270 days straight, I am talking about full commitment morning, day and night for 270 days. Like what food and bevarages go in his mouth and doing the little things such as incorporating weight stations and ab cycles after his runs.
He probably needs a good 60 days to focus on trimming about 30 to 60 lbs of fat. Not that that is unusual. But he has to come out on top of that journey first.
