Are we to presume Bekele didn't go all out since London is around the corner?
I would assume that, plus the headwind. I think it bodes well for him in london which is now only 2 weeks out. I imagine he'll do one more long paced run and thatll be it.
Also, I doubt he will head back to altitude so is probably training somewhere in europe until the race. Any thoughts on this?

The last time he ran really well, his agent took him to Europe and made sure he trained and ate properly for 6 weeks or so before the race. He ended up running 2:01.41.
What was your finish time? I don't mean to be rude, but a headwind when you're running 60 minute pace is different to the headwind you feel if you're running 1:45 pace. As I said, the guys I know who both ran under 70 minutes said the headwind was a definite factor
I ran 75 (worst HM for a good few years but about where I’m at)… nobody I spoke to from a mate who ran 65 to people that run much slower complained about the wind.
