Another racial hoax: BYU volleyball game

Fact so far:

1. No video or audio evidence a racial slur was said

2. Alleged fan the duke player told security was responsible has been proven to be innocent (during the times she was serving, video evidence shows him playing on his phone)

3. The officer who was placed between the court and student section also noted in his report he did not hear anyone shout racial slurs.

4. no one has come forward to corroborate the duke players

5. her godmother claimed the n word was yelled by the crowd every time she served (there is zero evidence after reviewing video of her serves that this happened. no witnesses have supported this claim)

6. her godmother is running for public office

7. her godmother has an extensive history of racist tweets towards white people

any other facts you guys want to share?

I trust reality and facts. there is no evidence this happened.

How can you trust the BYU cops who are screened by LDS and paid by BYU. The LA Firefighters, Paramedics, and Police took nude child body parts snap shots on their I-Phones and distributed them so people could personally enjoy themselves.

I'm not saying it could not happen, but it sounded right off the bat as something extremely unlikely and either an outright hoax or maybe something being misheard. Unless the alleged offender was mentally unhinged, the idea that someone is publicly and repeatedly shouting racial epithets at a college sports event and no one else notices seems farfetched at best. And who knew college volleyball was so cutthroat. Sort of reminds me of that dumb clock/bomb story. The national media ran with it no questions asked, the president commented on it, but lol and behold it turned out to be a set up by the family and just crude clout chasing on social media.

Anyway I have seen more than my share of crazy people spouting offensive garbage in public. So again it is possible that some wack job was acting out. But all the good natured BYU bashing aside, produce some evidence or it did not happen.

Look, here’s the deal. Provo is jammed packed with racists, every intelligent and honest person knows that is true. It probably happened, the cop is probably lying, the coach probably heard it. The coach and the athletic director both said that it did happen, that is a fact. The coach and athletic director might also be liars. BYU has a very long history of racism, and that cannot be denied.

One more thing. I have attended my share of volleyball games at the Olympics. The crowd is not super loud during the serve. I doubt a college volleyball game was more estactic. So there should be something audible if it happened each time she served.

No academic administrator can be at all circumspect when racial issues come across their desk. they must come out raging and 100% categorical about it. One hesitation and their careers are over. These admins had absolutely no choice if they wanted to keep their jobs but to believe the accusations.
