"USATF Infrastructure Upgrade On Friday, August 5, 2022, USATF will be installing a new enterprise wide telephone system. As we migrate telephone numbers from one service provider to another and test, there will be periods of downtime during which our customer service and staff will be unable to be contacted by telephone. The customer service numbers and staff contacts will remain the same. We fully anticipate that our telephone service will be fully functional on Monday, August 8 at 8:30 am ET. We ask for your patience during this time."

LA is a joke. Nobody went to the pro meet that was held at Carson in the 90s. Attendance was abysmal. Outside of the Olympics, no one cares. The Mt. Sac fan attendance is weak. The LA Marathon is a 3rd tier race whose numbers grow smaller every year. Santa Monica kicked them out because they didn't want to deal with it. Multiple indoor meets have all disappeared. Weather may be nice along the coast, even with all the smog and air pollution, but people don't go to pro track meets in LA either.

L.A. is the best place in history for Olympics Track and Field. L.A. sold 1,000,000 tickets for each of the 1932 and 1984 Olympics Track and Field at the Coliseum. 2028 Olympics Track and Field will be no different.
