I cheated on a college exam, I got caught by my professor and was kicked out of university, but I’m too mentally resilient to give up.
Despite the unfair actions of my college, I still continued doing all of the coursework and scored anywhere between a B and an A on all of it. I know it won’t count but I’m doing this for me.
For this reason I am the victim here please give me money.
No, your example is different because she does not admit that she cheated. She maintains that she did not cheat on the college exam.
The rules are not there to determine cheats… do read them.So we just don’t know.
Why is there an article from this cheat seemingly every week? Is it because she's white?
Other suspected and confirmed drug cheats hang their heads in shame and keep quite especially if they have been banned, and no one say anything about them; yet hardly a moment passes when one of you are not on here creating some inane post about her innocence or some crap.
Unpopular opinion - I respect her mental resiliency to continue training and running at a high level even if it's not quite the level she was at before. A lot of people wouldn't be able to sustain that effort - just like the Kenyan 1500 runners (Kiprop, Manangoi) who haven't been the same since they returned.
If you are tired of hearing from her then unfollow her. I'll continue to follow and hope she continues to share updates and isn't deterred by the naysayers.
She is the fastest American of all time and in her prime. If Mclaughlin got busted, we would talk about her for the next 5 years regardless of her skin color.
If she’s going through all this effort, it’s odd she’s not at the very least getting video of her TTs or is that just me? Weird to cry out for sympathy on social and bear your soul but the extent of your sharing of 100s of hours of training is pictures of stopwatches and a couple of action shots.
This. You can’t trust a grifter. Especially one with a drug conviction. There’s no proof that she actually ran any of these times and plenty of reasons not to take her word for it.
She lied about her burrito, so she's definitely telling the truth about her times.
Why is she still running aimlessly in big circles.. her career is over.
As a hobby jogger (and I'm pretty sure i'm not alone on this) I used to really enjoy training hard on the track for no other reason than to run a fast TT.

Name one suspected drug cheat hanging their head in shame.
Some have read the rules and concur that she is guilty but not automatically a cheat.
Thats a good point. Maybe she is using pacers that shouldn't be training with her?
Pacers and training partners are allowed unless all organised by her “ club”.
read the rules
Correct. But, if a pro like Frerichs runs 5000 m in 15:20 in front of Houlihan, AIU might argue that that was an official tempo run prescribed by Frerich's "club", because she'd never run that hard outside her official training.
In such a case, the doper's 4 year ban would reset, and thus go until July 2026.

Could be prescribed by “ Frerich” acting in a private capacity. I think AIU have said such ok.
A prob for AIU is that in many parts of the world it is fully evident if somewhat not provable that banned athletes are training within their old circumstances.

It’s not what I would do, but it’s fine if she wants to do speed work and run TTs but since she won’t be competing for 2.5 years, they are meaningless. The only thing that posting her times accomplishes is to trigger yet another LR thread.

An early poster on the first page nailed it. This is a PR operation -- plain and simple. And obvious.
The (thankfully few) posters who have bought her "admire me because I'm resilient" b***s*** are fools. Exactly the fools she is trying to reach with her posts.

What does this PR operation accomplish? She’s still banned for 2.5 more years and people that believe she is a doper will still think so when she returns to competition.
You're absolutely correct. In terms of the running world at large, it accomplishes nothing. But for those who actually believe her, or want to, she's giving them something to cling to. She's staying visible. She's staying in touch.
She's also stroking her own ego a bit, not to mention doing what she can to try to maintain her social media numbers.
But yes, in the realm of actual running, training, and racing, it's all completely meaningless.

Coleman, Naser, Okagbare,
"Guilty, but not a cheat"... Did you listen to yourself before you posted this?
