No one should be injured as often as she is. What the heck is she doing?
Goes back to her FSU days. I’m sure there are poor mechanics involved for the event that was chosen for her. I have railed on about how she should have switched to the 1500 but she was on the track to remain a solid contender to make teams. Yet, the Bowerman big mileage philosophy never made sense for her injury history. 50-55 mpw should be fine for national class meets if is she is able to handle intensity. Good luck to her.
In a weak event that has only gotten slightly stronger since 2016. Personally, I think she could have made teams in the 1500m, but she didn't (or Jerry wouldn't let her) make a strong go at it.
