Hollywood has led us to believe that the stars on the silver screen are mythical beings who are better at everything than us mere mortals. So, sure, why can't TC set the AG world record with absolutely no experience or training in that event? He could probably just keep going and run a 45 sec 400 1:50 800, 3:56 mile, etc. He sure "looks like" he could in his movies, anyway.

I saw TOP GUN Maverick yesterday. With all due respect to the great JJK, there ain't no way he could run that fast. He runs extremely well for a 59-year-old, but you can see he's stiffer and more brittle than when he was younger. He'd run a better 60 than a 100, but he would be extremely fortunate to break 14 seconds for 100m. That's pretty damn good for an old geezer like him.
