To me it reeks of
1) Jim got a gf that he obsesses over
2) the friends were like? Where have you been?
3) gf gets mad, Jim cuts friends out.
I guess the reason I say that is because they all still seem to get along besides Jim and Reed. It just so happens it started right when he got a gf.
we've all had that friend that disappeared after finding a girl.

He disappeared because he wanted to move on in life. The "same old" with the boys was beyond stagnant, and in reality he was 10 years to old for that anyways. Now he enjoys life with people more in tune with what he enjoy.

Cocodona isn’t an event you sign up for on a whim; seems at least as likely that the race plans came before the wedding plans.
I don’t read too much into the wedding attendance. Cowboys could have been invited and couldn’t come (it happens), or a small wedding up on a mountain doesn’t include everyone under the sun (also happens).
It's been a while since the Cowboys posted any good video content on their YouTube channel. You had Steph Kersh getting 2nd at JFK 50 in 2020, and then his FKT attempt somewhere he took a wrong turn and it was all for nothing. Tommy Rivs got cancer, so Jim got Jess to rub him down every week. Senseman ran for mayor of Flagstaff and thought running every road in the city would garner the locals' appreciation, despite most not being runners at all. Jim shared a pickle with Francois at UTMB, flailed to another DNF. Jared Hazen tremendous fail at WS 2021. Cody Reed seems done with the sport. The group is just kind of toast, as all running groups of guys in their 20's usually go. Walmsley was smart in that he leveraged that group to its fullest extent and moved up in life from it. Got a feeling the other guys didn't get that much out of it. Hazen ran the 2nd fastest time at WS ever and no one cares cause walms walms walms.
