WHITTNI ORTON - Roster Years - 2017-2020-2021 ANNA CAMP-BENNETT - Roster Years - 2016-2020-2021 AUBREY FRENTHEWAY - Roster Years - 2018-2020-2021 MCKENNA LEE HANSEN - Roster Years 2018-2020-2021 SARA MUSSELMAN - Roster Years 2017-2020-2021 LEXY HALLADAY - Roster Years - 2020-2021 ANNA MARTIN - Roster Years - 2020-2021
This was all the girls from the team that raced at nationals. Seems like based on how many seasons these people have been on the roster, they still have eligibility this coming fall.
Orton and Camp-Bennett are now pros. Frentheway returns. Lee seems to have another year if she desires. Musselman ran 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 so she is done. Carmen Alder ran pretty well at the mile this year. But still, both NC St and NM would seem to have 5 ahead of BYU's second (assuming Hutchins runs well and is #1).
I think Stanford mens have a decent shot at taking down NAU next year. Hicks, Sprout, and Robinson have all run 27:4x and have been top 15 at previous XC championships. They should all be top 10. Boyden had some injury issues but has run 28:mid and 13:3x. He could finish in the top 20. All they need is one of there other 13:xx guys to be All-American, and they could take down NAU. This is especially true If Nur goes pro.
Zane Bergen and Gavin Sherry might be able to close the gap as they finished 3rd/4th at Eastbay nats
If ND can get Denner and Markezich to run like they did last year, they have picked up Katie Thronson (from Tenn), and can get Wiser and Strzelecki (sp) a bit faster they may have a decent team.
Her 5k is 15:34 which is faster than 5 minute pace so I guess a 6k title is in the bag since she actually gets faster as she goes if your statement is true.
