Good riddance to GDS. I’ve never liked runners from other countries training in the USA with our teams, learning from our coaches, and benefitting from our facilities. We should not help our competition. Let them train in their own countries.
You're so cool, dawg. Born in a country with great resources.
So much better than those turds born in places without those resources.
Lets keep those dick holes who chose to be born in other countries at a disadvantage so we can pummel them in a contest of how fast you can get your body around a 400 meter track.

This would be a dumb take even if national team meets were literally the only events on the calendar, rather than a small percentage. The shoe companies/teams obviously derive a benefit from foreign athletes too. By your logic Christian Pulisic should get booted from the Premier League. Why should the English league train and support an American; we’re even going to play each other at the World Cup this year!
I kind of read it like this. For all we know she fully believes in the innocence of Shelby and all the BTC, but she couldn't handle the association and constant questions that would come along with it. Just a possibility.
I can't believe she is that naive. More likely, she read the full, damning CAS report.
There’s a few post race videos, at least one from letsrun, this past indoor season where you can tell that she’s annoyed by Jerry’s micromanaging when it comes to race tactics and such. Not coming away with a medal from world indoors (when she was essentially a lock to medal) was probably the last straw.
If Jerry still won't do an interview with Letrun (after many requests according Gault and the Brojos) following this event, it's fairly obvious BTC does have more damaging stuff to hide. I don't know to what extent but it's got to be bad. Brojos or JG, have you already asked Jerry to interview or answer questions regarding this yet? He has to respond or BTC looks hella shady/guilty right now.
Her words are being twisted a bit, by the boards and also by Camille Herron. She never says she’s doing this bc she feels morally conflicted, she says it has been a huge distraction and stess which I think is very understandable. Any public person who has been in a professional relationship with someone who is publicly “cancelled” can relate. Annoying that Camille Herron who likely doesn’t even know her comments that she’s glad she’s putting her integrity first, if I was GDS that would annoy me after I had taken care to choose specific words to express the reasoning behind my decision. I also notice that while GDS liked almost all the comments by other runners on her post, commenting back to most of them, she did not even like Camille’s
I hope GDS does an interview with LRC because LRC is the few media outlets that will ask tough questions.
And not Chris Chavez or FloTrack asking boring ass questions.
No for real. She can't go to any of the Shelby simps. That takes out A LOT of "reporters"
Chavez
Strout
Melly
Crouse
Wade
It's really sad how many are willing to throw their reps on the line for this athlete. I'd say either letsrun or CSC. CSC could have done more to speak out but at least they said SOMETHING.

I mean... It's up to the athlete to run the race. If she didn't medal, thats on her, not a coach
Why now, and why not right after it happened? Were the contract reasons, or did she suddenly grow a spine?
2) I'm guessing she believed Shelby in June but doubts grew after the full judgement was published in the off season.
Maybe Nike-Bowerman told their athletes to post support for Shelby and some weren't comfortable with being told to follow the party line. And more so now considering the guilty verdict.
