I get how he was trying to tie it into his punching Rock but the controversy surrounding King Richard was how it didn't reveal how Richard Williams basically abandoned his first family. Marital problems between Will smith and Jada or he has personal issues and that's why
he's acting crazy.
They have both been open about the fact they have an open marriage, but marital issues can occur at any time about other things. What is CLEAR though is that he has a personal issue. You are not just allowed to assault someone because they said something you didn't like. In this case, the comment was SO innocuous it didn't come anywhere close to warranting that behavior.
