Yes amazing since we've seen zero active professional athletes die of covid yet there's been handfuls with suspicious ailments and collapses out of nowhere, all vaccinated, and the catalyst being potentially vaccine induced.

Masks look kind of cool and make you look like a ninja and protect your face against the sun and getting perhaps a slight cold so if they stay as something some of us end up wearing often anyway because it’s fashionable so be it. It’s pretty cool. You got to dress as a bank robber/ninja for the last 2 years.
Right wing bums (usually lower middle class young men) will complain about high gas prices and others wearing masks & I don’t know why
early in the pandemic many right wing bums were preppers (underground bunkers to store ammunition while the world went into a crazy panic for toilet paper). Then they gave up prepper underground bunker and started betting on crypto and sports games

The gas is a nice tax on Trumpers for being price sensitive. The misinformation to them about masks helped kill some of them off sadly.
The mask mandate here in San Diego has been lifted for a while. A lot of people still wear it when they're shopping indoors. No one really cares and every now and then you get people give you dirty looks when you aren't wearing them.
I have no problem with other people wearing masks. But many of the people still wearing masks are very upset the mandate has been lifted as they not only want to wear masks themselves; they also want everyone else to be forced to wear one.
I can't say how many people were wearing masks at the gym because I dropped my gym membership. Better to run in the rain and snow than hit the treadmill with a mask. (Yes, masks were required even while running until yesterday.) At church, most people were mask-free this weekend, which was great to see. (We had close to 100% compliance during the mandate.)
Last time they lifted the mask mandate here (summer '21) it only lasted three weeks before they re-imposed it. My kids' private school STILL has a mask mandate - indoors and out. (We are thinking of pulling them out. But we used to love this school before the masks and the cancelation of all extracurriculars and field trips, etc.) People *love* their masks here in Seattle. At my local playground (outdoors), you'll see 40 to 70% of kids masked depending on the day.
Oh, and the entire state is still under a state of emergency due to Covid and being ruled by fiat by the governor.

WE were told cases were spiking as the cold weather was forcing people indoors and Covid was passed indoors, not outdoors.
The solution?
Mandatory masking outdoors.

Since the pandemic started I have not gotten the flu. That happened on average once a year going far back. It winds up that people who have the flu (and covid) go to stores and restaurants when they are disease spreaders. They are too selfish to stay home to avoid infecting other people.
So, as many Asians do, I will always wear a mask in public places (I understand why they do that now). Who wants get the flu and end up bed-ridden? Jamin and others seem to prefer getting sick.

It is far easier to wear a mask that to ask an unmasked person if they have been vaccinated within the last six months. You'll like get a lie as an answer. Or the unmasked/unvaccinated person will take that as a challenge and them what? A unmasked/unvaccinated man might start a fight. An unmasked/unvaccinated woman might throw a threats. unmasked/unvaccinated man or woman might pull a gun.

Go to the store and you'll see the "certain" unmaskeders will walk up close to a masked people when there is no reason to do so -- plenty of space to the side. Average healthy people of my generation do not get the flu anywhere near once per year. You must be younger and so part of the generations that get dozens and dozens of vaccines ad a child and so your body no longer can fight off the flu.
In order to be strong, your immune system needs practice. These masks and vaccines nullify that. People will have defunct and weak immune systems, potentially for some the equivalent of HIV positive individuals. You should take that into consideration instead of drinking the kool-aid from self interested and money motivated big fraudma companies.
