The first thing I noticed when Grant Fisher went to BTC is that he put on a lot of muscle compared to his Stanford days. His face also was not as lean. Is that normal? I hope he is clean, but it put a tiny bit of doubt in my mind. BTC/Nike has figured out something to make their runners strong even with high training volume. Shelby Houlihan or Lopez Lomong look extremely strong, but there are exceptions like Mo Ahmed or Karissa Schweizer who are still very lean. Overall, the team seems more muscular than the average group of world-class 5k/10k runners. Did they figure something out nutritionally for Grant that he was not doing at Stanford?
