Local guy here ran a 2:24 marathon off ~60mpw which i thought was pretty impressive.
It made more sense when i noticed he also spins like 5hrs/week.
In college average week was 70 miles for me.
Outdoor:
800m - 1:52
1500m - 3:45
5000m - 14:17
10,000m - 29:05
Indoor:
800m - 1:52
1000m - 2:24

Post trained 100 to 130 miles and only managed a 2:23:16 marathon.
In the military was selected for the Armed Forces Marathon Championship in DC. Thought it would be a cool trip and expected to be mid pack as I only trained for a month plus averaging 40 miles a week with one crazy week at 75 miles 2 weeks out and won the title in 2:24:38.
