all the gender stuff aside, it seems pretty harsh of adidas to drop her. She did get 2nd at 5th Ave and had some solid races in 2021, def put herself out there for the brand and had some wins. Why the drop?

when athletes don't make olympic teams in their prime it does make sense that they'd be dropped. Things you can be forgiven for early might be scrutinized as you enter your late twenties and certainly your thirties. Unless Nikki moves up in distance I doubt they'd feature much in the 15/8 as new young guns make headway. Plus Adidas signed two exciting new BYUers and Elly "Phant" Henes. At this point, those three have more potential than Nikki.
