in his book, he writes that this specific session was 25x400. in the interview he said in a misleading kind of tone that it was 15 or 20.

Look im listening to the interview and he clearly says that the average speed for each set should go up. And says 15, or 20 reps in total. I dont know what you have in your Google translated bootleg of a book, but this is what he says in his own words. Hes clearly trying to be obtuse to not give away to much, but the essence is progression through the session. I have no idea why people in this thread tries to print him as an idiot.

Are you seriously a runner without knowing there is something inbetween "faster" and "slower"? This should be an extremely simple concept to grasp without pretending like they have to use 10 point desimals. Each set was faster on average, each rep shouldn't be slower than the one before. Yes he might actually run some reps 00.xx slower than the one before, thats not the point, and if you dont understand after being explained for the second time, then all of this is out of reach for you.

Why are you so hung up on what you read on your pirated Google translated version of his book in this thread about his interview? Maybe he said that it was usually 25 reps but not today in the book, and that didnt come across using Google translate?

Each total set has to be faster than the previous, not each total rep.

Set 1

1.) 57.5

2.) 57.4

3.) 57.1

4.) 56.5

5.) 56.0

Set 2

1.) 57.0

2.) 56.9

3.) 56.5

4.) 56.2

5.) 55.7

I made these numbers up, but it’s an example of progression without each rep being faster than the previous.

I am not hung up on it. I am hung up on you attacking people who have said it is possibly 25. It is POSSIBLY 25. I don't know why this boggles you so much
