Sorry but Ben True’s run 13:12 the last 8 years in a row. He’s running NYC on Sunday against Bekele and couldn’t be bothered with this glorified tempo in racing clothes.

And I mean 13:53... That Cali HS team has 4 guys running 14:2Xs on a certified 5k XC course.

Man, these times are incredibly slow. The four Newbury Park high schoolers ran faster on 9/18 on an XC course - they should have showed up to this and collected a paycheck. Gidey ran every split of her half marathon 30-40s quicker than the ladies here

That's the spirit! Someone running a marathon tomorrow doesn't care about a 5k championship? Consider me shocked! And a championship 5k being won in 13:53?? I'm so disappointed! That's almost as bad as the 2015 world championships on the TRACK being won in 13:50! That entire field could've been beaten by high schoolers!

Lake effect snow occurs because the warmer, moisture-leaden air is pushed (by wind) over colder drier land areas and the moisture condenses.

Maybe its called peaking when it counts and periodization. He peaked for the Olympic 5k and likely picked up some nice appearence $ for doing the NYC races.

He said in one of his recent videos that he needs to build some fitness in the fall before the weather is cold because after that its hard to do so. So he maybe he just maintains fitness fall and winter in cold Colorado Springs, and we should see him fitter next spring and summer.

Obviously these guys weren’t wearing super shoes.

What was Kipchoge’s 5k time after he started behind 2k people?

Lagat should’ve hopped in this one. Maybe even Alan Webb, Ritz, Muscle Hall, or Gabe Jennings.

Isn’t 13:53 slower than Wejo’s PR?
