The race was only "fastish" for Hoare and Knight who went with the pacer. Everyone else sat back.

There were plenty of 337-340 finishers and a lot of them had slowish last laps. This race was pretty much perfect for a guy looking to run 338. Now if he had a great day, average day or poor one, I can't say. You would hope he will peak in a month or so and be faster but it doesn't always play out that way.
