I just re-watched the XC Town USA Meet of Champions and Sydney's race. I was watching how she hammered down in the cold and wind, and with the drive she had; ALONE out in front, and how she dominated.
She's a CLEAR favorite to completely obliterate this field tomorrow. I don't think Brynn will be even within 10 seconds of her...
Thorvaldson takes the lead with Brown just a stride behind her RIGHT from the start!
Eye-balling Thorvaldson 1st mile in about 5:04 with Brown about 40-50 feet behind her...

Maybe the fast first mile burned her out just a bit.

The video cut out though, I never actually saw Brown cross the finish line (no idea what her time was)... But Thorvaldson won by A LOT!

Wow! When a 9:39 runner gets beaten by more than 20 seconds, that says that Thorvaldsen the Great is ready to go sub 9:30 with the all time fastest cross country runner, Hutchins. Those track records in the 3k, 2 mile, and 5k will get smashed.
