Molly Huddle didn't run in the Saucony supershoe at marathon trials because the shoes bothered her ankles and she tested out to have less benefit than others (~1% compared to 4% that Jared Ward was getting). Huddle runs the same way, heels not coming down. Saucony needs a shoe like the Takumi Sen for her.

I know Nike is making a more traditional racing flat planned with zoom x foam (think it's called the hyperfly?), hopefully saucony comes up with something with their pebax foam too.

The absolute energy return for the adios boost, in joules, is like half that of a Vaporfly. The energy return percentage, which is what 99.993% of people are actually talking about, is not very relevant here. The high compliance of the VF allows it to store more energy in the first place and its high energy return percentage allows it to aid the runner. Boost, in the thicknesses typically found on running shoes, cannot store as much energy, and that is the main limiting factor of boost: can't use too much because it's heavy.
He's a very talented runner and did well on this course.
Because it's very difficult to catch and you get your first two no-shows of each year free if you do mess up.
