The Argentina angle is getting a lot more press here in Indiana. Indiana is the fourth largest producer of soybeans in the USA. And this year, it's a record harvest. The big problem? 62% of those soybeans are exported, with the majority going to China. China doesn't want them and hasn't placed any orders. The farmers fear bankruptcy.
This week, Trump and Bessent pledged a major economic rescue package for Argentina, worth over $20 billion. Argentina announced it would suspend its export tax on grains until the end of October, providing China with another more affordable soybean alternative.
Trump's bailout of Milei has effectively stuck it to American farmers.

Today he was indicted by a Grand Jury on two felony counts for various illegal and unlawful acts. That doesn't look anything like any federal Indictment I've ever seen. That looks like something that someone with 3 days of job experience would come up with.

If this is, as the media suggest, about the competing stories about whether the October 2017 "leak" to the Wall Street Journal about the Clinton Foundation and emails was authorized, it seems like the DOJ (Bondo and Hallorans) would have to have emails, texts or memos (or an eyewitness) that corroborate McCabe and/or contradict Comey. Maybe they have some, but this Report (linked below) seems to suggest that no such documents exist, and that it is McCabe that has at least 3 different versions of who said what was authorized. It's a complicated Report, but it sure looks like McCabe was lying and changing his story constantly and that "the overwhelming weight of evidence supported Comey’s version of the conversation and not McCabe’s." See Page 32.
That's just deficient on its face. Houlihans should be sent back down to law school to learn how to draft a Indictment.
I assume Comey will file a motion to dismiss, and the prosecution will be ordered to file an Indictment that complies with federal rules or drop the case.
This is interesting too. This is the Indictment the prosecution wanted to file, but they couldn't get the grand jury to indict on the proposed Count I.
