I know that you understand what is going on here. But there are several on this thread with vanishingly low IQs. So, for the record, what Trump said amounts to:
1) Europe may help Ukraine. The US will not.
2) If anyone wants to buy American weapons to fight this war, just let me know. We're not going to contribute squat.
3) This is Europe's war. Best of luck. Frankly I don't give a sh!t.
And of course, 4) "Best wishes to both sides." . In other words, no change. MAGA is delighted. Putin is chuckling.
I disagree. If it holds, it's substantial progress. Note that he did make the rare admission that he wasn't fully up to speed about the Russian invasion, before he pledged continued support and said Ukraine can win. If nothing else, he broke more MAGA brains today than a warehouse full of Tylenol.

To me, Trump's words sound fundamentally similar to his previous words when, for example, he gave Putin a 50 day deadline to end the war.
Note that Trump said that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is in a position to win (notably absent is the support of the US) and gave "best wishes to both countries." Coupled with his remarks from a few days ago about the US being prepared to up the sanctions on Russia IF Europe stops buying energy from Russia (thereby guaranteeing that the US would not place biting sanctions on Russia), it seems plain that this is the same old-same old.

Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his “talent” was never there.
