Saw this on X. People whining about the text of Trump's lawsuit. It's obviously written in the style of how he talks / tweets / truths (definitely inspired by him). But who cares?
Maybe it matters because legal filings are typically done by lawyers that are pushing forward legal arguments based on their legal expertise and research and studies of actual law.
Latest poll, Liberals are 6 times more likely than Republicans in justifying murder of political openents. yougov.org
I usually focus on the beyond-shameful sycophancy of Rubio, Vance, etc.
But I just saw a photo of Senator (MD) Bill Cassidy. A quick Google search shows that there are 4 MDs in the Senate, all GOP.
IMAGINE the degree to which you need to be EVERY BIT the negative version of "POL-I-TIC-IAN" in order to be a medical doctor and have voted to confirm RFK, Jr. ???
RFK Jr promised he would ratchet down his antivax cray, cray if they confirmed him and he got the position.
They are idiots for believing him.
"Idiots" is almost certainly too kind. And simply not accurate.
Rather, it's called, "I'm a rich, grown man, and scared stiff of displeasing the orange one."
Question of the Day: Is it possible to get on, view only, the monthly 3-way Zoom with Putin, Xi, and Netanyahoo, where they share their latest Trump-is-pathetic stories and laugh A LOT ?
"Funny" how when it's a lib member of congress likely selling their name to the tune of hundreds of thousands or a few million, Trumpers find a BIG problem (and they could, sometimes, be absolutely right about that).
But when it's the Chief Executive selling out the entire country to the tune of BILLIONS in his pocket.....well......
Trump 2.0 is a bit different than 1.0.
Trump has his highly corrupt crypto scam enriching himself. Eric Trump defends it by saying they were forced to because they were held financially liable for business fraud. In other words it’s the Presidential version of a wife beater saying that you made me beat you because of your actions catching me cheating on you..
But Trump also has the tariffs. The constitution requires that congress supply the funds to the federal government. But that constitution means nothing to Trump. He wants his own stream of revenue independent of congress that he can use and abuse as he sees fit. Thats the Tariffs.
No doubt there are others but that makes no difference. People in this country voice their opinion via the vote.
of the 258 Democrat voted in members of Congress, not only did they not accept a moment of silence but I cannot think of one who even condemned the assassination. if any did, it would be Fetterman.
And this was repeated behavior from multiple attempted Trump assassinations.
So, either you join MAGA, or this is acceptable to you because we represent the side that says it’s unacceptable. Period. This move sends people to h*ll, and that’s all that needs to be said.
Dems don’t have a single representative that says this. If you do, it’s not many.
Will you observe a moment of silence when Pelosi, Biden or Schumer die? I seriously doubt it, but you go ahead with your insanely one sided view of the world while never demanding the same of your party or yourself.
Or what, scream at the top of my lungs in the house "this is our house"? Yea I think I'll avoid low class behavior and give them a minute of silence. I don't like yelling it public. It's crass.

Today's Official Expression of Sympathy: Members of the British Royal Family having to pretend that they have ANYTHING other than severe disgust for U.S. President Donald Trump.
They can not forget him walking in front of Queen Elizabeth on his first visit ! Let us hope they can stand Dirty Diapers !
Trump lifted sanctions on Syria and reduced tariffs on Vietnam for Trump resorts. He gives access to his crypto "investors". He has real estate and family financial deals in Saudi Arabia who were largely excluded from tariffs. His net worth has more than doubled since the election, mostly from crypto which is hard to trace and he is actively trying to deregulate. I'll just nickname you Ostrich until you gey your head out of the sand (or Trump's butt).

Sounds like you two both have access to his personal financial files including portfolios and assets. Do you mind sharing his before and after positions for us to evaluate?

This is the same stolen valor moron who had absolutely no problem with the Biden family business model.
It's impossible to take anything that old dipsh*t says seriously.

It looks amateurish, doesn't convey the legal meaning it's intended to, and makes it more difficult to prove the allegations ("hate President Trump in a deranged way"). Strange and silly decision by Paltzik, Brito and Epstein to let their semi-literate, rageaholic client have editorial input into a Rule 3, 7, 8 and 11 legal pleading. Maybe, as you seem to suggest, they filed this sh!t for the optics ("written in the style of how he talks"), and don't care about the outcome too much.
But congratulations to you on actually reading at least one paragraph of a legal pleading you commented on. This makes you a very rare poster in the MAGA world.

Sucks when the smartest guy alive has it rolling while getting things in order for America, huh? 👊👉👊.

adolt talking to himself. Impressive. And lying to himself, to boot, of course.
The vaccines are problematic. They need to be researched further and improved or replaced.
Anyone who says this is a non-issue is an idiot, a liar, or profiting off of vaccines.
And this conclusion is based on what? An article published on "Science, Health Policy and the Law", which is basically a blog for anti-vaxxers? Are these your information soruces?

107. Defendants each desire for President Trump fail politically and financially. Each feels actual malice towards President Trump in the colloquial sense: that is, each—Craig, Buettner, Baker, and Schmidt, as individuals, and the Times and Penguin’s relevant executives as corporations—subjectively wishes to harm President Trump, and each wish to manipulate public opinion to President Trump’s disadvantage to worsen his current and future political and economic prospects. Put bluntly, Defendants baselessly hate President Trump in a deranged way.
My law school was sogenannte Tier One but definitely not Top Fourteen. Yet I find it impossible to imagine any of my classmates submitting something like this in a legal filing. (Among other things, they could write standard English, in apparent contrast to the author of the first sentence quoted above.)
This grotesque and seemingly intentional misunderstanding of "actual malice," a legal term of art, indicates--as many have suggested--that this is simply a whine (and, of course, a useful distraction from the Epstein files).
But this frivolous suit was filed in Florida, rather than New York, where it would likely not be given the time of day (and its authors potentially sanctioned or censured for submitting it). It's entirely possible that the Trump team filed this not just as a petulant rant, but with the intention of getting the defendants to cave, rather than face potentially ruinous legal fees. We've seen this with ABC and CBS: A public corporation is under real pressure to take the least expensive option. Then, as was the case with ABC/CBS, President Trump will have been given $$ and be able to crow about "winning."
This entire Administration and especially its lickspittle attorneys truly are despicable.
