Out of necessity, the FBI has had to solicit and maintain the support of many very unsavory characters as informants over it's history. And many of them ain't too bright, either. However, when it realized that Trump could not spell "FBI," they took a pass on him.

But I just saw a photo of Senator (MD) Bill Cassidy. A quick Google search shows that there are 4 MDs in the Senate, all GOP.

He has real estate and family financial deals in Saudi Arabia who were largely excluded from tariffs. His net worth has more than doubled since the election, mostly from crypto which is hard to trace and he is actively trying to deregulate. Maybe it matters because legal filings are typically done by lawyers that are pushing forward legal arguments based on their legal expertise and research and studies of actual law.

"Funny" how when it's a lib member of congress likely selling their name to the tune of hundreds of thousands or a few million, Trumpers find a BIG problem (and they could, sometimes, be absolutely right about that).
