When the story first broke about Kavanaugh, I said that if the damage is limited to one woman's claims then Kavanaugh probably survives and gets confirmed.

But now there is a second woman. It sounds like Avanatti has a third woman lined up who might have the most damaging story yet.

Warning: My client re Kavanaugh has previously done work within the State Dept, U.S. Mint, & DOJ. She has been granted multiple security clearances in the past including Public Trust & Secret. The GOP and others better be very careful in trying to suggest that she is not credible.

That’s bold! I was hoping for some primetime interviews before Thursday to dial up the stakes, but I still can’t underestimate just how low the GOP will go. I think they can go much lower and confirm this guy even with massive indication he was involved along with witnesses. Hell, even if he’s caught lying they are likely to confirm him.

I think if there is a vote in the judiciary, Flake will be a "no". For that reason, I don't think there will even be a vote.

All that really needs to happen is for Flake, Collins, or Murkowski to say they will vote "no". When one senator caves, at least one more will follow. Then it's over.

You're correct, the left will eat their own, look how many voted to impeach Clinton. Conversely, the right are happy to support their own politicians accused of sexual assault etc. But when a Democratic senator is accused of sexual misdeeds, their own party also makes them resign - Al Franken got no support from anyone. The right were only too happy to condemn Franken, but those same people call any similar claims against a republican a witch hunt. Sure, morally it's repugnant and they vote party over values, but scum don't care about values. That's why Trump supporters love Trump, they don't care about Truth, they just know they hate democrats, nothing else matters, even that Trump is in reality liberal.
