Looks like a Lemonade Stand Investment. As long as mommy and daddy can supply the lemonade and customers show up, profit is not an issue.
That’s right, profits you say. Who needs ‘em?
?
What would you know about profits?
I have my own profits. I am not Zoom. I can use them just as I would a piece of carp shovel—they are just a tool, and sometimes the cheapest, crappiest Harbor Freight tool does the job.
YOU are not Zoom. You should stop worrying so much about Zoom’s profit and focus on your own, THAT is YOUR business.
OK. Do you own Zoom shares, if so when did you purchase? Otherwise this is worthless.
If worthless, it was the perfect counterpoint to your equally worthless citing of United, also a total waste of time.
You’re pretty quick to be dismissive these days, what’s up?

Maserati,
No, just disputing your point. You are as adamant in your view as I am in mine. If Zoom is a tool, so is MMM. Just bought because someone thinks there is magic there. If I had to buy ZM or UAL, I would choose the later. I had a client call wanting to put $50k into a couple of airline stocks and I discouraged him.
No offense meant, or taken.

I wasn’t there, so must be fake news.

A complete nothing-burger.
Yeah, Japan schools closed for a month. Numbers rising. More deaths in Seattle than Japan yet they aren't doing anything substantive yet. Shelves cleared in Germany. L.A. port traffic dried up. Panic 50 cent cut.
Be honest. How many of you bulls started Coronavirus is a nothing burger threads today? There's a dozen of them.
Market went up. Meh. I like to invest on facts, not wishful thinking. Isn't this the down goes the dow thread, not running bulls thread?
Levels on the downside to watch:
2,980 Tuesday low
2,860 Monday low (corresponds to 1/2018 high)
2,350 12/24/2018 low
2,100 11/2016 Hillary Clinton emails (wipes out Trump Bump; and mid-point 1/2015-10/2016 range bound market)

No, this is the “sprinting bull to a cliff thread.”

Nobody “invests” in stocks—not me, not you. It is all speculative.
And I speculate on facts, that I describe on here, which I add to experience and intuition to sometimes reach what I consider to be tradeable conclusions. You may pay attention to different facts.

How can actual experiences be wrong?
So, you were wrong and thus fake news.

You already admitted you were wrong. Just put your tail between your legs and walk away.
European markets down sharply today

I made some lucky decisions last couple of days, buying low and selling high. Completely out of character based on past behaviour. :-) Anyway, I'm much more into cash with this next dip on the way, fingers crossed...
