Ashland has had a good run over the long haul in terms of mid and long distance success relative to, first D3 and then D2, but it will be coming to a screeching halt this year. The coach is gone. They had a terrible recruiting year last year and supposedly again this year. No new blood. They lost everyone but Hall and Knack from last year. They don't seem to be throwing any money into recruiting distance guys anymore.
Hall will more than likely do fine. He's a proven commodity. Knack has potential but hasn't proven he can take it to the top Regional level, let alone the National level and that's your 2nd guy. So we have Hall just under 25 min, Knack in the low 25's and after that you're looking at 26 minutes for a couple guys and then 27 min for the last few varsity guys.
Then the next year, well, Hall and Knack will be gone and you get the picture....
