Yes because as we speak Canada, Mexico, Iceland, and Ireland are now working to get a nuclear arsenal.
One disgruntled Republican who's a good shot could make all that unnecessary. The ever-present risk for tyrants.
I read this comment and immediately realized there is only one person on these boards that could have written something as stupid as that and alas....bravo good sir.

Iran hit an Omani oil tanker in the straits of Hormuz. Oil majors have suspended all tanker traffic through the straits. Houthis have promised attacks on shipping in the Red Sea but nothing has happened so far. OPEC has promised a surge in production to counter Iran’s moves against shipping lanes. But that won’t do much as long as the only way oil gets out of the Gulf is the Mediterranean. Expect crude to hit $80+ on Monday and broader markets to take a beating.
Yes because with all of the capabilities of the U.S military the one we don't have is the ability to get oil tankers out of the shipping lanes.
That is true. No one is willing to risk crossing the straits right now even with all the US military presence in the Gulf.
Americans don't realize that the weak can find ways to strike back. 9/11 showed that. As a legacy of what Trump is doing the US will have to invest far more into trying to protect American citizens from terrorist attacks than any time previously in its history. Whether you know it or not you are being put on a war footing, but you don't know where the attack will be and where and who it may come from. But you will now be more a terrorist target than ever. Is that making America "strong" again?

Every western/christian country is and has always been a terrorist target. Nothing new here.

Yes but Trump appointed a 22 year old with no experience to head up the US domestic terrorism defense. And Seb Gorka.
After they purged all the experts. It will be fine.
MAGA loves murdering people. They love this. They have no idea why people were murdered, it really doesn’t matter to them. As long as Trump needed a distraction it is good.
*America kicks a hornet’s nest* Republicans: Let’s praise Trump for having the guts to kick a hornet’s nest! Sane people: What’s the plan for after kicking the nest? Republicans: Why can’t you just be happy he kicked the nest?

Probably good to avoid large public events in major cities for the foreseeable future. I'm sure we're going to have some terrorist attack attempts. Hopefully the security agencies can stop them in time.

No, they aren't all targets. Iceland doesn't have much to worry about. There was only one 9/11. Whatever motivated that will have been increased by Trump's reckless exercise of American military power in other countries.

They'd better build a very big wall. That hasn't worked out so well.
