Does it make Cheptegei sound better to you if he's not only finishing several seconds behind someone with a 13 second slower PB in the most important race of the season, but is even afraid to show up to the starting line when he has to face him?
Why on earth would Cheptegei, Kiplimo, Aregawi or Kejelcha fear Jakob in a 5000m -they have lost to him before, and it wouldn’t been a prestige defeat at all to do it again. On the contrary -they would have everything to win. Especially if they, like me, thought that Jakob has gotten his prior 5000m wins way too coincidentally and easy. But the thing you don’t understand is that the guys ran a 26.44 Olympic record in hot temperatures, and therefore ruined their 5000m chances. -Just listen to the interviews with Grant Fisher: He was leggy as hell, and obviously must think -correctly- that he got a free bronze in a washed 5000m final..!
You'll have to ask Cheptegei about that, because he's the one who won't show up to the starting line to the 5000 even when there's plenty of other people doing the 5/10 double who can manage to do it.
Not only do you move the goalposts when the criteria you yourself brought up gets applied to another runner and bring up the 10k when you yourself mentioned the 5k specifically, you're completely wrong when you're trying to justify why Farah was slow when half the people ahead of him on the all time list set their PBs before Farah did.
Komen and Gebrselassie ran 12:39 in 1997 and 1998, Bekele ran 12:37 in 2004, Kipchoge ran 12:46 in 2004...
But let me guess, every PB set before Farahs was because of doping and every PB after Farahs was because of super shoes?
Farah wasn't 50th when he ran 12:50 - and btw he is still only two seconds slower than Ingebrigtsen at 20th. Nothing in it. The unbridgeable difference between them is Farah's 10 championship victories, and especially his two 5k/10k Olympic doubles. That may never be matched again. It won't be - can't be - by Ingebrigtsen. He isn't in the same class as a distance champion.
Armdummy and his inability to deal with numbers.
Farah was 25th when he set his PB, which is not 12:50 and not two seconds slower than Ingebrigtsen's.
He is 4.66 seconds slower than Ingebrigtsen who was 12th when he set his PB (which doesn't reflect his potential at all).
We don't know what some runner may achieve in the future.
Silver and Gold in the 1500m/5000m are way more difficult than two Golds in the 5000m/10000m.
The 5000m/10000m double was achieved in 1912, 1952, 1956, 1972, 1976, 1980, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 (Nurmi, Gebrselassie and Bekele definitely would have achieved it in 1924, 1995, 2005, 2007 if they would have tried/were allowed).
It's just astonishing that our Dummy always switches to the 10000m (a distance Ingebrigtsen hasn't raced so far).
Ingebrigtsen has won his fourth global Gold at age 23, Farah has won his first global Gold at age 28.

Just an absolutely hilarious turn of events
Army saying their times aren't comparable because Farah ran before super shoes, when more people ran faster than Farah before his PB compared to the number of people who are faster than Jakob today, only for him to reveal that he doesn't even know what Farahs PB is
In the past when I've had this discussion with Army he's claimed that it's irrelevant to judge Farah on his PB because he never tried for a fast time, but it's somehow relevant to judge Jakobs when he's never tried for a fast time either. He's a truly unique specimen.

There's 24 people ahead of Farah who set their PB before 2012, more than the number of people separating Jakob from first, and increase that to 2016 when super shoes got introduced and the gap gets even larger. Your arguments don't even hold up even after you try to lie, move the goal posts and apply different sets of criteria to different runners.
And where on Earth did you get Farah running 12:50 from? His PB is 12:53, and no, there's more than 2 seconds separating 12:48 and 12:53. You should really seek professional help when you're struggling with dyscalculia this badly.
A couple of seconds - so f****** what. But the difference you never address and never can is the Farah has championship attainments that put him at the very top of the sport and Ingebrigtsen can never match. You're a baby.

Has Ingebrigtsen tried to win championship titles? I believe he has. Has he gotten near to what Farah achieved? Nowhere. Can he replicate Farah's 5k/10k double, that he repeated. Not even close and in fact not possible. You're a wanker.
It wasn't about the best of all time, but included a contemporary as well as an immediate predecessor. But you want to lower the bar to make Ingebrigtsen look better. As I've said, Cheptegei is still a superior distance runner.
Yes, he's superior in both the 5000 and 10000. He's not superior in the 5000 when he's run a total of 3 global finals since 2015, won one and finished 9th and 8th in the other two.
12:35 as against 12:48 says he's ahead. By the length of the straight.
A few days ago you said you were not coming back to this thread. And yet here you are, having your ignorance exposed again and again.
We own you.
No, you don’t own him -most of you are having so weak arguments that you have to go after the man and not the ball. And therefore again and again repeat this childish “dumb” thing, and also try to be mean. But the worse you are the better Arms comes out of it -I’m laughing my arse off..!

We try to be mean to him? Hahaha you must be blind. From this thread alone, and the worst have been deleted, look at what your poor victim called other posters:
You're a slimy piece, aren't you? you keep losing when discussing the event that Ingebrigtsen keeps losing. you aren't bright enough to realise that. I disregard what you say because it is irrelevant. You have a slow mind. You fans are pretty dim. I lose interest in bores. sometimes can't be bothered responding to the non-arguments of plodders. You would be one of them. you moron. You are making yourself increasingly pathetic. You are mentally challenged. He is idolized here by schoolboys. I see why you lose at everything you undertake. The ignorant, such as you, have really taken over this thread. You are a moron. You're a baby. You're a wanker.

You're a fellow worth yarning with over a beer. One wouldn't say that of the noisy whiny children on this thread.

And he keeps replying to me. Amazing. Even when I am not talking to him.
You are writing about me. But then you don't write about anything else. You lot are obsessed with attacking me for my views about Ingebrigtsen, which don't match yours. If it didn't matter to you you would let it go and not respond. You can't.
