Nearly the entire team at West Virginia State University has entered the portal. Not sure if the head coach is leaving or if the school is shutting down. Something to monitor.

Several athletes from Georgia and Alabama on the portal, are they shutting the school down????

Great career for Kip Janvrin and Kirk Pedersen at Central MO. Those guys were college teammates at Simpson and then coached together at Central MO for four decades. Not something you will find often in college athletics in any sport.

With all the ads dropping this time of year. What are some places you'd suggest steering clear of?

Solid conference. Got a full, new weight room. Newly surfaced indoor track. Outdoor track facility. Team's had some solid success for both men and women recently. Seems like some quality running there too from what their IG account shows.

My friend ran for them, Schauf is a cooky but great guy.

We all know just 1 name should be on the list and UK should pay anything they need to so they can get him. One certain former Cali hs coach

Rumor has it John Marshall could be going to Seton Hall. Coached at St. Peter's and his resume looks shaky at best, but their Athletic Director worked at St. Peter's, so this could be a matter of "who you know, not what you know".

They're bottom feeders in the Big EAST anyway, but they should take a shot on an Assistant Coach or a coach from a lower division who's hungry for an opportunity, not a coach whose best guy runs 27's on a D1 team.

You're right, some athletes from power 4 schools with lots of money is definitely comparable to nearly an entire team from a small D2 school with less than 3000 students. Grand Slam rules but you definitely do not.
