People are as divided on this election as ever, no doubt. The fact is Biden is losing ground, not the money raised ground. I saw a National reliable Poll today that had it 49-41 Trump, split that middle its at least 48-42 as the gaffes continue. The military comment which was an unforced error, because he volunteered it was a flagrant and to many an inflammatory remark and even more so when it brought the old video of him watch glancing more than once. Never called the parents and significant others, sent a form letter. It just is. "jet lag" and a cold, starts at 11 for prep and naps in PM, its over for him. Hunter in WH meetings even as a spectator? Bad optics. Now some will crap on this for sure, but those are the known "optics". None of that is just rhetoric OR debatable KJP couldn't even deny the naps. And there is no way now how anyone not even Dems on here that think Harris is at 45-47 in any poll. She couldn't even get out of a debate unscathed and was dropped early. She is not popular and honestly? Her presence is laughable. The same people that hate Trump will hate him forever, the numbers fleeing Biden are obvious. Most will never vote from Trump obviously...but Harris? For all the banter about "get out the vote" who would that be for?

This would be the response of a rational person. Biden is not rational. His campaign sent this email out:

Replacing him isn't that easy. on a number of state ballots it's too late to remove him from the ballot, also the funds raised for Biden/Harris are only for Biden/Harris not any ol Dem candidate.

I heard an interesting take this morning.

Biden most certainly will not drop out before the RNC convention. Trump is desperately needing to know who he is running against so they he can pick the best VP. This would be a huge strategic blunder to give Trump that answer before they have to. They will keep them guessing.

The Trump campaign needs to know who to start attacking and who to spend money attacking. And their VP pick will depend on what they are trying to do to win swing voters. That will totally depend on who their opponent is.

The DNC has $65M that could be used for other candidates and it looks like many donors will switch to someone besides Biden:
