Georgia buying athletes left and right smh. How’s this fair for the rest of the ncaa
Nothing says Other Schools can't do the same, South Carolina is doing well with Transfers as well, Basically SEC Schools get almost all the Sprinters, with a few exceptions like USC in California, TCU and a few others, other schools need to step it up.
Vimbayi Maisvorewa Auburn to UGA. 400 PR 50.25. Huge Transfer!
I looked her up on Auburn's Track Roster, She ran 2 years of Indoor and Outdoor At A Junior College and She has now used up her 2 Years of both Indoot and Outdoor at Auburn, So looking at The Roster Information she is Done with her Eligibility.
Jerome Campbell Northern Colorado to Arkansas. Hurdler.
Campbell has run 6.66, 10.12, 20.71 on the flats to go along with 7.49 (2nd at Indoor NCAAs) and 13.23 in the HH. Obviously he and the Northern Colorado staff have figured some things out.
So now he ups and leaves to Arkansas for his final year? Whats this about?
I know Northern Colorado signed two elite hurdles for next year to join Campbell (now that's not going to occur).
I also see their distance coach has been reassigned to compliance. What's going on there? Are they shutting down the program? Or are they going all in on sprints/hurdles/jumps?
@MattHatter - don't you know this part of the country well? What's going on?

There are a few possibilities
1. Untenable training situation. I know a excellent sprinter who ran 10.0, 6.6, 7.6, and 13.2 as a true frosh who transferred because his school didn't have a track - they trained at a community college 20 minutes away.
2. Better resources at Arkansas. That same frosh^ transferred to TT because he got a solid NIL deal, and also because TT had far better resources (trainer, food, ect) for athletes.
3. His scholarship got cut. This seems unlikely but you never know.
Nothing is going on. It’s business as usual. Life goes on and changes happen for the good. The Bears are doing fine. Program is doing well. It is the natural evolution of things.

"The Bears are doing fine. Program is doing well."??? Is this in reference to the UNC Bears that just lost Jerome Campbell?
If so, I think we have different definitions of 'doing fine' and 'doing well."
UNC has been a perennial bottom feeder in the Big Sky. Certainly they've had a very small handful of individuals do well - but individuals doing well is not the same as the program.
I imagine the coaching staff is operating way under the old scholarship limit (12.6 / 18) and is likely doing about as good as they can with limited resources.
Nonetheless, this program is NOT doing fine or doing well. They are fledgling at best with an occasional individual ray of sunshine. Just about every D2 program in Colorado is better than UNC's program.
