2. Warholm has been near the WR before. You don't need tons of races to be in peak form. Super spikes also likely helped too.
3. Intersex is a thing. Apparently moreso in certain nations. People will compete in the group they feel they belong, and yes, some will compete where they think they can win. Either way, the system worked and they got removed from 400. Unfortunate it didn't apply to 200 also, but...... yes, it's not an easy, but a messy problem.

3. People should compete where it is fair for them to compete based on their potential capability in the event, and they know it. It is not messy in the least: 2 testosterone categories.
It is a total clown show.
She has demonstrated the capability to knowingly contravene established rules by intentionally introducing banned substances into her body. That is the definition of doping, cannot be tolerated, and will be sanctioned.
Determination of the exact sanction can take into account factors such as emotional distress and other circumstances.
If I were making the decision I would give a ban short enough to permit her to compete in Tokyo.

I'm just tired. I know that weed should not be on the banned drug list. I know that. It' s unfair and I'm heartbroken for her and respect her for taking responsibility. I'm just tired of athletes not following the rules, and then fans confuse their excuses as injustices. Those are the rules. If weed isn't addictive, shouldn't a professional athlete find another coping mechanism? As Rojo says, this is not a human right. She's not being incarcerated.
Take weed off the banned list. But athletes shouldn't use it since it is. No Sha'Carri should not run at the Olympics. It sucks. sucks so horribly. Oh it's very dumb, I agree, but here we are and that is exactly what will happen. The only question is will USADA own their preferential treatment and lazy rule management all these years or will they make some lame thing up to give them cover.. or say nothing at all even when they give her the go ahead.

Why doesn't her 10.72 time in April 2021 at the Miramar Invitation in Florida qualify her for the US team? It meets the standard, is within the window. Is USATF bound to use the Trials results only?
